The Philadelphia International Flower Show
Sunday February 28th to Sunday March 7th
PA Convention Center; 12th and Arch Streets; Philadelphia
The famed Philadelphia Flower Show officially goes international this year with the addition of that far-flung adjective to its name and the theme of the 2010 edition: "Passport to the World". It runs Sunday to Sunday, February 28th to March 7th at the PA Convention Center in downtown Philadelphia, with the annual members-only preview, as always, on the Saturday before opening day (Feb 27) from noon to 3. (Membership in PHS includes free Flower Show tickets that can be used for the Saturday Preview or any date the show is open to the public.) And on that Saturday evening, it's the annual formal (black tie) fund-raising gala&mdashcocktails on the show floor, followed by a sit-down gourmet dinner upstairs. (The best way to see the show, and a night you'll always remember, says Mike McG!) Details: www.theflowershow.com
